I vacated military housing in XXXX California and I returned my cable equipment - router/modem, cables and remote control to XXXX XXXX via FedEX to the address provided by customer service. My cable and internet service was discontinued via my cancellation on XX/XX/202 because I was moving. The FedEx delivery confirmation states the package containing the equipment was received @ XXXX am XX/XX/2021 and signed for by a person identified as : XXXX. A company called XXXX XXXX sent me a notice for " XXXX XXXX '' for {$100.00} in XX/XX/2021. I responded with a certified letter that the debt was in error and the equipment was returned. I included the confirmation of FedEx delivery with the letter. No response or resolution was ever communicated to me via XXXX. Never heard from them again. Now as of XX/XX/2021 I have a new company - Collection Bureau of The Hudson Valley, XXXX XXXX XXXX, XXXX, NY XXXX ( XXXX ) XXXX citing reference # XXXX stating the same thing- I owe them {$100.00} for unreturned XXXX equipment. This collection is in error. I contacted them via their email procedure and included the delivery confirmation as an attachment. Thank You
