On XX/XX/2022. I recived an alert from XXXX that Synchrony Bank had checked my XXXX credit report. The following is the credit inquiry listed on my XXXX report : SYNCHRONY ACCOUNT REVIEW DATE : XX/XX/2022 Institution Information SYNCHRONY ACCOUNT REVIEW XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX, GA XXXX ( XXXX ) XXXX I attempted to reach out to Synchrony Bank several times on XX/XX/2022 and spoke with multiple representatives. I was transferred back and forth between the fraud team and the customer care team. I was able to speak to " XXXX '' with the fraud team who advised me there was no applications in process with Synchrony Bank. I also verified with XXXX that no reviews were done on any accounts. " XXXX '' advised me to reach out to the credit agency who alerted the inquiry. I have notified XXXX that the inquiry is fraudulent. The number listed on the inquiry ( XXXX ) is a number I am unable to reach, the phone line just keeps ringing. This fraudulent inquiry continues to remain on my XXXX report. This inquiry is UNAUTHORIZED. I hereby demand Synchrony Bank to notify XXXX of the removal of the inquiry. This inquiry violates the FCRA under section 605B ; results from identity theft. Please notify XXXX to remove the unauthorized inquiry.
