I recently inquired before about my account being closed, and I got a response from citi executive team. The main issue is the funds left in the account, I was told by the team that I can walk in my nearest Branch with a third party to receive funds and when I proceed to do so, the Branch said they cant because there is a block on my account, I showed them the email sent to me by the citi executive team and they disregarded it because only the fraud team can approve whether I can access my funds. I called the fraud department and they arent helpful, they just hang up on me, and say the funds are going to be sent back to the issuer. And they wont put any note to let the branch release my money to me. This is MY money and I need it immediately. One person says I can go to the branch, another said I cant. I just need my funds as soon as possible.
