During the pandemic I reached out to Chase regarding my husband and I both losing our jobs. Obviously for months, like everyone else affected by Covid, we were not financially able to pay the minimum payments due. We reached out to Chase and was denied multiple times for deferments and payment arrangements. For six months, until we both started working again, Chase continue to report the delinquency to my credit report, affecting me greatly. Since we both started working again, I have since ( and prior to the pandemic ) been in excellent standing with Chase. Unfortunately the six months of negative reporting continues to affect my credit report.
