Consumer Narrative
My CareCredit payment was due XX/XX/2021. I mailed it on the XXXX, though it was cose to pickup time, and may have been picked up on the XXXX. It should have been there in the XXXX it was processed on the XXXX. When I called about the late fee, they said I had already had it waived 5 times and the couldn't do anything about it. Unless the law has been changed, as long as the payment is postmarked by the due date, it is legally on time. All prior waving of fees was for the exact same reason. If it is good enough for the IRS, why is not good enough for the banks?
