I have a Chase Visa card, After raising a dispute on a transaction, Chase/Visa first waived the charge on my account. But before presenting me with any documentation on what the seller had to say, and giving me a chance to respond, Chase/visa has put the charge back on my account. In this specific case, I had booked a hotel for couple of days on XXXX and within couple of hours decided to cancel the booking. I tried reaching a human customer care representative and I couldn't find anything on their website to that end. The bot kept advising me that the cancellation depends on the hotel 's cancellation policy. I tried calling them multiple time and even wrote an email. Their phone is not functioning and no one responded to my email. There was no way for me to contact anyone on either XXXX and XXXX XXXX near XXXX. XXXX said that the hotel had charged me for a no-show which is first day of the total booking. But Chase/Visa decided to put the full charge of the booking on account without providing any notice of the dispute resolution.
