In XXXX during the outbreak of Covid my work had slowed down due to the high lumber prices so we called our mortgage company and asked if they could defer a few payments, they would not help at all, but we continued to struggle and made the payments on time, then on XX/XX/XXXX I came down with Covid and could not work for almost 30 days. Due to that I was 31 days late on my payment and they reported it to the credit bureau and my credit dropped XXXX points. So we called them again to explain the situation and they refused to help in any way, I had never been late before with them or any other loans. I have worked hard to keep my credit rating good and by this one thing thing they have messed my credit up and made it harder to get the things we need
