I had an account on the online shopping store " XXXX XXXX In this account I had my credit card information saved for faster checkout. On XX/XX/2021 at XXXX I received an email that I had placed an order on the site for a product. Within 1 minute, I received 3 more emails stating I had ordered the same product. A total of four open orders that I did not initiate. The supposed seller then marked each one as shipped within another minute or so to make it impossible to cancel the orders. I was able to cancel one order before the seller marked it shipped leaving 3 orders for the same product that I didn't create. I contacted the website first but they suggested doing a chargeback through my credit card. My card was immediately cancelled and an investigation took place. The investigation said I the transactions were not fraud, which I disputed. I sent documents showing that multiple of the orders used the same tracking number. On the invoices of each order it showed my home address that I had attached to my account, but the tracking numbers showed delivered to a completely different state. The destination not matching the order address should alone be enough to investigate. The website has now frozen the orders from this fraudulent seller as they have realized it was not accurate. Chase still has me as responsible for the orders even though I provided plenty of evidence that the orders were not possible to be filed by me and no packages were ever sent for me.
