I have student loans through XXXX and have been paying on them up until the forbearance started. I was also enrolled in the public service loan forgiveness program however XXXX changes the status of the loan stopping my enrollment in the public service loan forgiveness program. I tried to fix the situation however was unable to start back in the program. Now I have to reapplying for the public serXXXX loan forgiveness program. XXXX has switched my loans over several times and remains unclear on if I have been excepted back in the program or what else needs to be done for me to get credit for the payments already made and if I they will count when I am back in the public service program I have been working in public services for over 18 years and feel that I have been steered in the wrong direction in the attempts to pay off my loans.
