Consumer Narrative

Applied for online checking account on XXXX & XXXX XXXX, 2022. Each time, after submitting requested information, I receive the screen " We can't open an account for you based on the information you told us. '' There was no other explanation. This is curious as I have over XXXX XXXX other checking accounts at smaller institutions, and actually had a $ XXXX Chase credit card years ago ( which I cancelled in good standing myself ). Chase 's website is totally useless for finding out additional information regarding this unwarranted application cancellation.
