I had an offer to open an XXXX XXXX credit card managed by JP Morgan Chase, including an instant {$60.00} XXXX gift card. The offer invited me to give a little bit of information to pre-qualify without it hurting my credit score, which I did. The results came back with a congratulations you're pre-qualified for an Amazon Rewards Visa Signature Card. So I continued to the application process and it came back with a denial! It said XXXX will send me the reason in writing within 30 days. I feel like this is a total bait and switch, which has now just given me a 2 year hit on my credit score.
