Trying to find out if JPMorgan Chase sold my loan before we sold our house or if it was still through them. If it was still through them, trying to find out about a payment XXXX is saying that they made for them and we owe. I have called multiple times and no one understands my questions. We received a letter from XXXX stating that they made a tax payment in our name for a lender ( the lender was not named in the letter ) and since we sold the home, we owe that tax payment back to them. They have sent us multiple letters and are now threatening to send to collections. I have spoken to 1 person at JP Morgan Chase that said they have no clue who XXXX is and it is definitely a scam. If that is proof, I need a letter stating that XXXX did not pay my taxes and this is a scam.
