CITI credit card payment was made on XX/XX/XXXX. Payment was made in full and last four CC # was written on memo line of check. Company argued they never received the payment, yet our bank confirmed the credit card payment posted via XXXX On XX/XX/XXXX and provided me with a transaction detail report. Transaction detail was provided to the company. They were not able to locate the check for several months. Finally, after several phone calls and repeating my story several times, CITI miraculously found the check. I was assured the payment would be recorded, and applied to my account. They assured me that late fees would be removed. They assured me that it WOULD NOT negatively impact my credit. They LIED. I beyond frustrated. I made a payment, on time, in full and THEY LOST IT. I was told by two representatives very recently that CITI made the mistake and it would be corrected. BUT IT HAS NOT been done. I need it corrected ASAP.
