Citi Bank has been keeping harassing me every week asking me to provide information for my checking account, and most of the information shouldn't be required for a checking account. Every time they asked for something such as SSN, employer, salary, job, office, work duties, education, houses, my parents ' info, etc. They have been harassing me every week, and I have already spent 4+ hours responding to these requests. They are violating my rights as of following : 1. A lot of the information should be private ( eg : where my father lives ) which should not be questioned for a checking account 2. I requested an explanation of this obviously excessive harassment, and they failed to provide valid reasoning and just told me it is their " periodic routine check ''. This can not be true as I have never heard anyone having a similar situation 3. I requested a privacy notice as the information I provided was private and confidential. They refused to provide such notice and even threatened me 4. They always contacted me during work hours and have wasted me 4+ hrs responding to these inquires and emails so far. I should be reimbursed for the work time 5. Every time they promised not to harass me anymore, but I usually received another harassing phone call 2 weeks later 6. Every time they called me using different numbers which are not the Citi 's number on the back of my card. I suspect they use personal numbers or unofficial call centers to spam me
