- Reached XXXX credit limit of {$14000.00} on XX/XX/2022 - Made one time payment of {$9700.00} to make credit available on the account. This was done 12 days before my autopay for that amount was scheduled. - {$9700.00} amount was drawn from my bank account on XX/XX/2022. -I tried to make a purchase with this XXXX on XX/XX/2022 but it was denied. -I called customer service on XX/XX/2022 immediately after attempting the purchase. I was told that I had available credit but the payment of {$9700.00} made on XX/XX/2022 was frozen for 10 days. They said they could do nothing to reverse the freeze and could provide no specific reason for it. - I called my bank. They confirmed the payment to Citi and said they have no way to retrieve it. - So now Citi has close to $ 10K of my money while withholding credit access for 10 days which seems like fraud to me. - This is causing disruption in my life as all of my monthly payments for utilities, subscriptions, and donations are on direct payment schedules using this card resulting in hours of changing payment methods for all these creditors so my payments don't bounce.
