My name is XXXX XXXX XXXX the dispute is with for CHASE ACCT #. XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX : On XX/XX/2021, A man called me on my cell phone identifying himself as a member of the Chase Fraud department, said that my card was in danger of fraud and he needed to confirm some information, asked me my name, confirmed my address and my cell number., he mentioned about my other credit cards as well, he needed to do the same., I became suspicious of the call and hang up,. I immediately called the back of Chase Card number and REPORTED the suspicious call, requested a payment stop for any purchases on the account and asked for the card to be canceled. Things seemed to be normal, My card was canceled and replaced by another one within a couple of weeks. For the next month, I received the monthly bill with two charges done on the day mentioned above : the charges were done by these merchants 1. XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX The amounts rounds up to about 6.000 thousand dollars for both charges., I have asked CHASE FRAUD numerous times to drop the charges because I was a victim of a fraud, but they insist that the charges were legit, that they emailed me about the charges being done, but the email address was not current., they did not called me to my cell phone or texted. They have limited themselves to send me a letter, confirming the charges and nothing else.
