I was in a deferment due to COVID 19 I was told I could put the mortgage at the back end if the loan. To qualify I needed to make 1 payment by XX/XX/2021. I made the payment on XX/XX/XXXX and was told by relationship manager that the payment was short XXXX which I paid on the phone. I was told I would receive a letter in 7 days. I get a call XX/XX/XXXX that I no longer qualify after the payment has been made. Now I'm told I'm only eligible for a modification. I'm trying to refinance and won't qualify if I am in a modification. I was told in XXXX that if I make a payment I would again qualify. I made a payment in XXXX and then told in XXXX that I don't qualify. This chase bank is playing games and giving false information.
