Consumer Narrative

My last complaint was submitted and this was the file number XXXX. It's in regards to JPay services and how they are provided. The company responded by actually giving us a XXXX dollar credit. Yes XXXX I have sunk XXXX into this tablet they give a XXXX dollar credit. And they did send a new tablet ASAP. That would actually be satisfactory if the tablet the sent was not damaged. It can not be charged it over heats. And it has no sound. This is what this company does. The tell people it is a courtesy tablet from the state of new york, to entertain the inmates. The tablets are like first generation. First of all. You have to practically give your life in order to get it replaced. As proven this has been going on since XXXX.they send a faulty tablet. My husband can't even right a ticket cause the XXXX in the jail isn't working. That's just a couple of issues. I have sunk at least XXXX in media he can not watch or hear. Including videos I have sent and other family. XXXX is not a free tablet. That's an XXXX product.not to mention to send money they charge XXXX you must purchase stamps is order to send email and videos and pictures. And then when you call to finds out why they never received msg. The jails tell you to call JPay. JPay does nothing but have horrible customer service. Everything is right a ticket and wait for response. I had to right a ticket and wait two weeks just for them to respond back if the tablet is in their possession. After it was we have two wait to more weeks for a ticket to be sent in order for it to be approved to be sent out again. SERIOUSLY!!. Then they also like to tell you their job is to get msg videos pics to the facility to that's why they charge us. No thief job is to get it to our loved ones. At least this is what they say. So if it goes to a facility and the content is denied people should be refunded. They should have a system for that. JPay is literally ripping people off. So I pay to send him things that he doesn't get that the facility doesn't want him to have or allow. And every place is diffrent. But yet they do not have a system set up for JPay to see if it was denied. So they can refund us. So end result I had to open another ticket cause now they sent a tablet that gets to hot to charge and had no sound that can't be synced to the XXXX because it is broke. REALLY. This company should be shut
