I applied for a line of credit at the on line music equipment site called XXXX. The credit line was approved for {$600.00} through Synchrony Bank in XXXX of XXXX. I made my first purchase of {$590.00} on XX/XX/XXXX. I made my first payment of {$100.00} on XX/XX/XXXX prior to the XX/XX/XXXX due date. In early XXXX I applied for a small loan of {$4200.00} through n loan service called XXXX for the purpose of consolidating all my credit card debt. The {$4200.00} loan was approved and I paid off all my credit cards, including the Synchrony Bank card. So I paid off my XXXX XXXX, XXXX XXXX, and XXXX accounts. On XX/XX/XXXX, Synchrony Bank informed me they lowered my credit limit from {$600.00} - {$250.00} based upon the information they received from XXXX, the same credit reporting agency they consulted to 'approve ' my my original {$600.00} credit limit back in XXXX. I believe this adverse action on Synchrony Bank 's part was arbitrary and capricious. None of my other credit cards lowered my credit limit because I paid off my credit cards. So the decision of doing this on their part is dubious at best.
