While traveling in XXXX for vacation, my Citi premier card got lost/stolen and was used to make purchases at different locations here in XXXX. I called Citibank customer service/ fraud department to immediately report the transactions as fraud but the answer I received was that I should wait until someone from Citibank could contact me. A week later nobody has contacted me and after several attempts to reach out a representative to ask for help the only answer I was given is that I need to wait up to 2 months for them to carry out an investigation. Now, the charges are posted to my account making my current balance increase, and they do not offer a temporary credit to remove these transactions from my total balance while they investigate these transactions. In the end, this is hurting my credit score since I am in the middle of a home refinancing process and my credit report will be pulled to be considered for this transaction. PLEASE HELP!!!
