I deposited a check on XX/XX/21 via the mobile app. Normally I would have access to {$200.00} upfront and the rest would clear and be available the next day. With this check, there was no funds made available, and I was notified via app notification that the entire amount was placed on hold for at least 9 calendar days. This is an inordinate hold and gross misuse of power by Chase. I tried calling Chase twice on XX/XX/21 but was out on hold for for a total of over 3 hours. I was also told calling and waiting was the only way to get this resolved, and that they do not have capacity to handle all the calls they get. This seems predatory in nature and puts consumers in a difficult position where there are not able to work towards resolution in a reasonable manner.
