I have a citi AAdvantage credit card managed through Citibank XXXX. I called Citi on XX/XX/2021 to report fraudulent charges that I did not make to XXXX XXXX. I explained I had not purchase anything from XXXX and they said they would issue me a new card and investigate the charges. I called back Citi XX/XX/2021 when I did not immediately get my card in the mail and my online account continued to show additional charges to XXXX after my original call on XX/XX/2021. Citi assured me card was mailed recently and not to worry about the charges, payments and fees they will be cleared with the finish of the investigation. Called in early XXXX as account balance was still showing XXXX charges, the only thing charged to the card and flagged by me as fraudulent. A letter dated XX/XX/2021 arrived XX/XX/2021 from Citi XXXX XXXX, stated there was no fraud and I am responsible for {$1400.00}. The letter includes a reminder that they will report my account past due to consumer reporting agencies. In the letter, they purported that their investigation showed I provided the merchant my account information. I called Citi fraud services, XX/XX/2021 for resolution, asked for a XXXX but they could not provide me with answer as to why charges continued and the investigation had no supporting evidence or reason. I wanted resolution but only received an assurance the they will continue to investigate and " may '' call me back.
