On XX/XX/XXXX I received a call from " Chase fraud prevention '' about a wire template being set up on my business account. I use quotations because this was actually a scammer calling from a Chase phone number. They altered me to the wire and asked if I would like to cancel the wire. Assuming I am talking to chase I confirm my personal info but do not tell them my account info. The use this information to wire {$42000.00} out of my account. The phone call seemed odd so I immediately went into my local Chase branch to alert them of the situation. They inform me the wire has been set up and delivered. I tell them this is fraud right away and ask them to cancel the wire. They tell me it has been sent and will try and recall the wire. What follows next from Chase customer service is a nightmare. As of today it is XX/XX/21 and I do not have my funds back and Chase is basically telling me this is my fault and I don't know what to do next.
