Hi, On XX/XX/2021 we opened an Interest Checking account with Citibank and deposit {$53000.00} to the account expecting we would receive {$700.00}. As of today, after the account was opened for more 6 months, we haven't received the promised {$700.00} yet. We called the company 4 times and were on hold for no less than 15 minutes each time but we still have not received a reasonable answer. On our first call, we received the confirmation that the amount would be credited to the account on XX/XX/2021. On the 2nd call, XX/XX/2021, the customer service representative promised the issue would be resolved within 5 business days. We received a letter saying the case was under review as the result. On the XXXX XXXX, the representative let the call go in silence for a long time, so we had to hang up without the answer. We received a letter informing us that the time frame for the promotion was from XX/XX/2021 to XX/XX/2021 and the account wasn't opened during the period. The fact is the account was opened on XX/XX/2021 and the {$53000.00} deposit was on the account on XX/XX/2021. On the XXXX call, XX/XX/2021, the representative XXXX told us that the promotion condition was opening a checking and a saving account at the same time which is not mentioned in the promotion post.
