On XX/XX/XXXX i went to my local Bank of America branch needing to access my Safety Deposit Box. I arrived at the branch at XXXX. The hours had been reduced to XXXX earlier in the pandemic, in XXXX. I found the bank closed, locked, and with signs posted ( I took photos ) both describing the COVID protocols in place and that the branch is " Temporarily Closed '' with information to contact BofA for access to Safety Deposit Boxes. I both emailed the contact information and I waited online for 1 hour, 40 minutes to speak with someone ( after my first call was auto disconnected by their system after 25 minutes. ) I NEVER received notice of the closing of my bank, restricting access to my personal belongings. I have an urgent need to collect one of the items in my box and I still have NOT heard from BofA. BofA could and should have notified me. I log into the mobile app daily, the web portal at least every other day, and they have my email address linked to my user ID, linked to my mobile and home phones, linked to my accounts. They have multiple ways to reach me. I want my property! This isn't rocket science.
