I did not know I was paying for this service for my Paypal XXXX XXXX Synchrony card until about XXXX when I noticed my balance was not going down even though my minimum payment was over {$100.00} per month. I also lost my job at the time and wanted to file a claim. I contacted Synchrony bank and was told i had to contact the card security department or check the card security website. I remember having the same issue with my Amazon credit card and was able to find this on the card security website and cancel the plan. I tried to attempt this same step with my Paypal card and their website kept saying it cant find my information. I told Synchrony that if it cant find my information then whats the point of paying for this service and Id like to file a claim that this is an unauthorized charge. Instead of putting this charge on hold or putting a stop to it, they just told me to call that department back again. I tried calling again and was told that for some reason my name was not spelled completely and instead of 2 words it was combined in one word and that may have been why they couldnt find it before. I told the representative I wanted to cancel my plan and would like a full refund. I was told it was canceled and that I would get refunded what I paid for the plan which was over {$2600.00} at the time. I check my Paypal app and it stopped show the card security charge so I stopped worrying about it. Then a few days ago I noticed that my balance owed has been increasing even though I havent used this card in at least 2 years. I noticed that through the app it doesnt show the extra charge and I have to download the full statement for it to show the charge. Id like this plan removed from my card and get a refund for what Ive paid for this service up to this date including interest accrued
