In XX/XX/XXXX and XXXX of XXXX, I had two late fees assessed to my PayPal Credit account. I called in XXXX and spoke with a representative who waived the fees, and because I was sick, brought the account current for these months, informing me I would be reported to the credit bureaus as on time for these months. In XXXX, I had my credit pulled to get pre-approved for buying a house, and the late payment status was still on the account for these two months. I called Synchrony again, and spoke with a supervisor, who said they would fix the issue, and that I never should have been reported as late. They informed me that it would take about 30 days to fix, and that I would receive a letter in the mail. About 60 days later, I still had not received a letter, and the status had not been corrected. I called Synchrony once more, and spoke with another supervisor. He informed me that Synchrony was reporting these payments as on time, but for some reason, the credit bureaus were not updating it. He entered another request to fix it, telling me it would take 30 days again. He verified my mailing address, and said I should receive a letter this time. He also recommended I enter a dispute through the credit bureaus on this issue. While it has only been a couple weeks since then, I have not yet received a letter. I entered a dispute on this issue through XXXX, but instead of the two late payments being removed, a THIRD late payment was added in XXXX of XXXX, and I made my payment on time for that month. I called Synchrony about this, and spoke with a third supervisor, who didnt even care there was an issue. She simply read one of the letters I never received verbatim, and then hung up. I want these false late payments to be removed from my credit report, and I want to be compensated for the time invested and stress Ive had to deal with during this issue.
