Consumer Narrative
Rocket Mortgage sold my mortgage to XXXX Bank who added {$30.00} fee to my payment for a faxed payoff statement. I called XXXX and asked why are they charging me and the answer was you must have authorized it, and said I had to make a request in writing for them to consider reversing the charge. I sent an email to Rocket asking why am I being charge without my knowledge and I am awaiting a reply. XXXX said it would be free if mailed but Rocket wanted a Fax SO 30 BUCKS.
