Consumer Narrative

Hi, This matter is with Bank of America. I had a line of credit with them and each month I make a {$100.00} payment. In XXXX I made monthly payments as usual. Then I received a late notice ( I can not remember the exact date, but it was the later half of the year ). I called BofA and found out my payments were going to an Unapplied Account, but they do see the payments and said they will move the funds over to my account. At that time, I did tell them that this had happened to me a few years back also ... my payments were being applied elsewhere, and then I would get a late notice, I had to call to get them to reapply it to my account... Then, a few months later in XXXX, it happened again, this time when I called, the Rep said the same thing again, that they see the payment but it's in the unapplied funds account. The difference this time was she told me that the loan had matured and I had to pay it off. So I said ok, and I paid it off. Fast forward to XXXX, I'm in the process of refinancing my home, and that was when I found out that BofA reported me 4-5 months paying late. I tried calling BofA multiple times. First time they said their reporting is accurate, I tried disputing it but got no response. Third try got no response either. But the Rep told me she will send me the payment history on file and I can file a report with the Credit Bureaus. When I got that statement I sent it to my lender. He told me the statement was hard and confusing to read, which I do agree. But that goes to show that BofA was messy applying my payments. So I printed out my payment history from my bank also, which clearly shows I made my payments each month, and made a payoff amount of {$4000.00} in XXXX. So my lender suggested I also file a dispute with the 3 credit bureaus. He wrote the cover letter for me and told me to mail it with my payment history. So I Certified Mail them on XX/XX/XXXX. I received the Dispute Result letter yesterday XX/XX/XXXX. The results says the " Outcome Remains '' I feel that XXXX also failed me. I sent in my payment history as proof that I was never late, and they didn't even take that into consideration. I would like to file this complaint on both Bank of America and XXXX. Bank of America for reporting inaccurate information and not correcting the issue, and XXXX for not doing their due diligence on my behalf. I can send you the payment history statement that BofA sent me and also my payment history that I printed out from my bank for you to review. Thank you for your time and I hope you can resolve this issue for me.
