To my knowledge, the account was closed out in XXXX in the amount of {$6300.00}. My credit report ( attached ) also shows the account as closed. On three separate occasions over the course of 3 years, I have had to explain why a closed auto loan from SANTANDER CONSUMER USA INC has shown up as a collection mark on my credit report. On XX/XX/XXXX, I contacted XXXX XXXX XXXX to get a debt deletion letter, since I plan on purchasing a home soon. The manager, XXXX XXXX promised to send the letter on two separate occasions and has still not complied.
