For a year I tried to get best buy citi bank to listen to fraud claims and remove the charges. And for a year I was given the run around. I would still make payments and then in XXXX I proved I reported to police. Didn't receive the new card etc... I was in hospital and just found out from a representative that best buy citibank lowered my credit limit from XXXX to XXXX about a week after SOME OF THE UNAUTHORIZED CHARGES WERE TAKEN OFF.. I am told to wrote in to the citibank best buy credit department and I have been informed my card is now XXXX over the new limit which it wouldn't have been had I Still had the XXXX limit I thought I had. I have paid on time and there was no reason to lower my credit limit. This is a clear retaliation and I dont know what I'm going to do.but I do need something done In 2018 when I ordered something from a merchant. I sent in proof of emails showing I didn't receive the item and best buy citibankrequested those which u sent in. After I seen a letter saying I never sent the proof in I called and told them I had and have proof I sent it in with the fax confirmation and screen shots. When I sent thar in they still said o never sent them in and I just left it alone. This is the same story they use now. After I send in document and give them police phone numbers they still say they never received so I keep everything from recorded calls to faxes.
