On XX/XX/21 received a letter from Bank of America that they detected suspicious activity on my credit card and temporarily suspended my account ending in XXXX. Problem is I do not have a Bank of America Credit card and have never applied for one with that bank. I called the Bank of America 's fraud division and they advised me to notify the FTC, XXXX, XXXX and XXXX of the problem. Is this a case of credit card fraud or identity theft ; please let me know what to do. Thank you
