On my XX/XX/XXXX statement from Citi, I was charged {$40.00} in interest, without any explanation. When I called Citi 's customer service, the agent agreed that the interest charge was an error. But I was told that I must pay my full balance ( including the {$40.00} incorrect interest charge ) in order to have the {$40.00} refunded to me. That's ridiculous.
