I was alerted by XXXX XXXX that a PayPal /sync credit card was opened in my name ( using a previous last name ) I did not open this account. I called the company and they told me it was a previous last name and a different address but wouldn't tell me that information. They did close the account but it has dropped my credit score XXXX points! I disputed with XXXX and XXXX and both sent me emails saying that the account had been verified!!!!! Ugh! Obviously someone has my info and I don't know how to fight this. Today I received another notice but the name of the new card is not listed on my credit report yet. I am terrified they are opening any account they can? Please help me
