I received a promotional offer with an invitation code to the Bank of America XXXX XXXX credit card. I used the code and applied on XX/XX/XXXX. On XXXX I received an email stating that my application could not be approved and a letter would be sent to describe why. On XXXX I received the adverse action notice with incorrect adverse action reasons. On XXXX I wrote an mailed a letter to the address provided on the adverse action notice. In the letter I stated : " There were XXXX adverse action reasons provided on my letter. The first is XXXX or more of your accounts were written off as uncollectible and/or have settled for less than the total amount owed. Neither of the reasons in this or statement are correct, and I have verified with the XXXX credit bureau as instructed on the letter. I have never had any outstanding loan not paid on time nor paid in full in my entire credit history. The second reason was Current or past delinquency on XXXX or more of your accounts with us and/or our affiliates. Again, I have never been delinquent, ever, in my entire life on any account including those issued by B of A and its affiliates. I verified this fact with XXXX. " On XX/XX/XXXX I received a second adverse action letter ( Dated XX/XX/XXXX ) that was identical to the first. B of A completely ignored the context of my response and just resent the first letter a XXXX time. My complaint is that B of A is sending incorrect/invalid adverse action reasons on their denial letter. The reference number for my denial letter is XXXX.
