My name is XXXX XXXX and I have a checking account with Citi bank they have a freeze on my account and will not let me access my funds because they said there is suspicious activity. They said they can't verify my phone number and it isn't under my name. I have given them XXXX phone number that is mine and only in my name and another which I have used for more than 10 years which is under my sister 's. She called and had my number caller id to show my name with her provider. They also said they would send me a letter via the USPS to verify my identity I would receive it in XXXX business days. That was on XX/XX/2021. I called last week as I had not received the letter they stated they mailed out another letter. I called today XX/XX/XXXX and was told that the letter was not sent to the address I opened my account with but to the address provided to them by the company that they use to verify identies. I have offered to send them a copy of my driver 's license, social Security card, birth certificate, voter registration card, they can call social security where my deposit comes from. They can call the wireless provider where I have my phone account through as well as call another bank that I have a checking account through. They said the only way they can verify my account is to wait for the letter in the USPS which is not coming to my current address. I have lost my storage as well as not being able to get my XXXX medicine due to this. I don't know where to go from here.
