I am unable to get requested details or have a clear conversation with this loan servicing company. I have requested to speak with a point of contact regarding the loan which is in foreclosure. I have asked for an escrow history and was told only 2018 was available.Yet, at the same time, I was told that escrow analysis is done annually, but because the loan is in litigation and so far in default, all that was available was 2018.I am expected to accept Carrington 's calculations and add on fees without question. I have requested a copy of the XXXX XXXX ( original loan holder ) settlement with the state of Illinois and was told by XXXX, XXXX ID XXXX ) that only my attorney could request such documents. However, to date Carrington continues to have the lawyer originally retained 4 years ago listed on the account. Numerous attempts have been made to update the file with the current and correct attorney to no avail. I was again told on XXXX, XXXX that a third party authorization was needed Yet, previous authorizations have never been updated. This company contradicts itself in every phone call and lacks transparency. Please see attached confirmation of my experiences from a certified HUD counselor.
