The electronic file provided by Portfolio Recovery Associates as validation of debt for account # XXXX has a balance at the time of sale of {$2.00}, XXXX is erroneous because it includes a {$38.00} late fee overcharged. Because the balance at the time of sale is incorrect it automatically INVALIDATES the electronic file mention above. With this been said Portfolio Recovery Associates is in violation of section 809 ( b ) of the FDCPA because they had failed to provide proper validation of debt. Attach to this dispute I am providing you with 1 ) The electronic file provided by PRA as proof of validation which shows the erroneous balance at the time of sale read above 2 ) Copy of Last Statement which shows the right amount of {$2600.00}
