I utilized Rocket Mortgage to obtain financing for a property in XXXX, OH. First contact was on XX/XX/2021. In the middle of closing, a " resolution expert '' reached out to inform me they were unable to secure an XXXX and recommended I find a different mortgage company. My XXXX and I both asked about offering a premium but agent stated they still recommended utilizing a different lender. Even though the extra premium would have been charged to me, they still recommended I utilize a different lender. Part of his email " ... since we utilized all of our resources to find an XXXX and couldn't get anyone to accept the order, that's why we wanted to reach out as soon as we could to let you know. '' Unsure why they didn't disclose this during the signing process, that they have difficulty in some markets obtaining an appraisal which will cause them to basically cancel the financing and delay or destroy the deal.
