I called Chase Bank to dispute an amount on my statement. Here are the events that follow : * I called Chase Bank and told them that the merchant was not authorized to charge me * Two representatives refused to dispute the amount * Then I was routed to their managers and she agreed to file the dispute * After she filed the dispute, the dispute was closed a few seconds later not in my favor * I check on Chase.com Web site to see the reason. It was a fraudulent letter to me, absolutely a lie : " The merchant reviewed your dispute, but didn't find evidence of a billing error. You're still responsible for payment and will see a charge equal to the disputed amount on your next statement. If you received a temporary credit while your dispute was under review, it'll be removed. '' * I called back and they admitted that Chase Bank never contacted the merchant
