On XX/XX/XXXX, I was looking at my credit report and noticed that there were two hard inquires on my account. One I was aware, as I purchased a car in XXXX and took a small loan, which I payed off immediately. The other was under CBNA, which after many phone calls, I found out it was CitiBank. I called them and was told I would have to call XXXX, which I did and then was told Citibank should be helping me. Being somewhat frustrated, I talked to a fraud expert at Citibank who explained I had to fill out this form and after receiving a response form you, I would then have to mail it them. The representative has already stopped the card from being used, as the card was sent out, not received by me, but she cancelled the account. I have talked to many people regarding this issue, and the most important thing to me is having the fraudulent hard inquiry removed from my credit report. I worked hard to get it where it is, and I should not be punished for what someone else has done.
