Consumer Narrative
In my experience, the rewards on cards do not begin until I receive the card and activate it. I received my new XXXX XXXX XXXX card in the mail the other day XX/XX/XXXX, and I haven't even activated yet, and they are saying my miles bonus rewards program begins on XX/XX/XXXX through XX/XX/XXXX. In this case, I've already lost out on a week-and-a-half of miles accrual ( since I didn't have a card in my possession that I could actually use ). I need them to start it the day I activate the card.
