I have two medical bills on my credit report from Wakefield and Associates for {$2900.00} and {$600.00}. These bills were supposed to be covered by my health insurance, XXXX. I have talked with XXXX on many occasions and they informed me that it was an error in their end and that they were in fact supposed to cover these costs. I have talked with XXXX three times over the last few weeks only to be told that they are resubmitting the claim each time. I am attempting to refinance my house and this is the only reason I can not. I have also talked to Wakefield and Associates who has the debt now. I also had XXXX call Wakefield and Associates to inform them that XXXX will be paying the amounts. Wakefield and Associates tell me they can not remove it from my credit until XXXX pays it. As mentioned above, I have called XXXX multiple times. The first time I was told it was going to be expedited and would be handled within 24-48 hours. I called back a few days later for a status update only to be told it would be 7-10 days. I then called back a week later and was told the didnt get submitted, but they would submit them again, which pushed it out another 7-10 days. I then called this evening and was told that they hadnt been processed yet but he could resubmit them again to see if it would speed it up. When I told him this wasnt acceptable because I had been told this many times already, he said I have been beat up all day and hung up on me. I am requesting these collections be removed from my credit report as soon as possible as they were not my responsibility, XXXX has admitted fault, and stated they will cover them. I am unable to refinance my home because of these two collections. Wakefield and Associates Account number : XXXX
