This is a follow up complaint that was not addressed by the bank. the other issue which Chase bank refuses to acknowledge besides the hardship they caused, unanswered questions about freezing ALLLLLLL my accounts instead of just putting a hold on a single deposited check, Then they froze my daughters accounts, which are NOT tied to mine, COMPLETLY separate, we are NOT on each others accounts, or in the same home or county. and breeched confidentiality by telling her about the check i deposited ( which was legal and confirmed in 1 day yet until i went into the branch after being hung up on 2 times, and called the complaint dept, on hold for 2 hours, did they release my money ) into my acct, they gave her my acct number, and when she told them she has know idea whos account that is, they continued to tell her the name on the check, and the amount,. i have tried to get answers and they are denying and ignoring any wrong doing, they sent us BOTH a threating letter, that if we do provide information they requested, they would close our accounts.. They gave personal confidential information and refuse to right this wrong. Giving personal information ACCOUNT numbers to anyone is against the law, CHASE bank needs to correct this, and people need to be made aware of the actions they are taking to hold money, and not help.
