On XX/XX/XXXX a security instrument was given to HUD ( via XXXX XXXX XXXX ) in connection to my home located at XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX, XXXX, GA XXXX. The security deed was previously serviced by XXXX on behalf of HUD until it was transferred to Rushmore Loan Management Services as evidenced by a letter dated XX/XX/XXXX. In XXXX, I corresponded with Rushmore Loan Management Services in order to secure a payoff of the primary loan and any subordinate instruments associated with my home. I was given a figure and paid that amount. Until XXXX of XXXX, I took for granted that RLMS had sent XXXX release paperwork to my XXXX. Upon my attorney 's research into the title, it was discovered that the smaller security deed was never released, although RLMS shows the balance on that instrument to be XXXX. In XXXX of XXXX I began to inquire about a resolution with RLMS. The result has been disastrous. RLMS has not been responsible in following up with me on this matter which has been unresolved for almost two months. The latest information they disclosed to me is that they have sent some unidentified information to HUD and that HUD responded with unidentified questions for RLMS. I can not get a clear answer to my inquiry. In the meantime, {$4400.00} is being held in limbo during a home sale process. This is money that I need and can not access. I filed a complaint with HUD and am now doing so with you. I can not reach HUD to inquire and am left thinking that something is amiss with RLMS. I have no recourse of action as RLMS will not connect me with their lien release department, nor will they connect me with someone who can answer my questions. The original XXXX case XXXX on the instrument is XXXX ( this is a Georgia subordinate security deed : HUD instrument XXXX. The number XXXX assigned to the deed was XXXX. The loan number that RLMS assigned is XXXX. I need some pressure to be applied to RLMS to reveal what is really going on. Thank you.
