I am a natural person and consumer who has received unfair treatment by Synchrony and its business affiliate, a well known hardware merchant. In a previous CFPB complaint, XXXX, Synchrony pledged to remove the fraudulent inquiry made on my consumer report on XX/XX/2021. This was to be completed within 60 days of my complaint however, the inquires still remain on my consumer reports. Pursuant to 15 USC 1681b, Synchrony received my consumer report but has no written instructions from the consumer ( me ) to whom it relates. This constitutes a violation of Title 15, Chapter 41. Synchrony also violated 15 USC 1681d and 1611 as they caused to be procured an investigative consumer report and did not accurately disclose to the consumer ( me ) that such report would be made. This too constitutes a violation of the Title 15, Chapter 41. Sychrony continued to report that they made a fraudulent inquiry on my consumer report well past the date they claimed they would remove the inquiry in CFPB complaint XXXX. Synchrony is in violation of 15 USC 1611, by continuing to report false and inaccurate information to consumer reporting agencies, therefore ruining my reputation and defaming my character.
