On XX/XX/2019 I received a threatening phone call from Sterling and associates claiming they would have a warrant out for my arrest if I didnt pay {$770.00} during that phone call. If I hung up or did not pay it then, Id be arrested. Said I had a payday loan in my bankruptcy and by doing so they could have me arrested for writing a bad check. They refused to give me the name of the payday loan company. Im a XXXX mother of XXXX and was scared to be arrested so I paid it in full that day. Just recently I found the receipt given to me from Sterling and associates so I decided to look them up on the XXXX website. I saw others experienced the same and that its a fraudulent claim. Id like my money back.
