We received statement from bank of America stating the they are not going to pay us back remaining {$8000.00} because we suppose to report the stolen money within 2 months.Reason delaying the report : We did not recognize the the stolen money until the first part of XXXX because we did not receive the bank statement in XXXX, Some one directed our mail to different address ( made a report to post office. believe they have a record ). We do not know the rules and regulations of banking but always understood savings account in the bank is safe and insured. Your help will be greatly appreciated. Many thanks. XXXX XXXX.
