To whom it may concern, I am writing to complain citi bank 's extremely sloppy action regarding dealing with customers 's service. My checking account underwent a fraudulent activity in which my whole money around XXXX USD was stolen and transferred to another unknown debit card in XX/XX/XXXX. Because of this, the bank closed my account without any notice. I immediately called the customer service to report this fraudulent activity and was told that I will receive the original amount of money within 60 days via check. During the six days, I constantly checked with the customer service and got the same answer. Besides, I was advised to open a new checking account and they will deposit my funds to the new account. Within this period, I only received one letter from the bank stating that the money transfer did not go through without stating anything about my funds. After more than 3 months, I did not hear anything. I called the customer service everyday and received the same answer there was not any information related to my account. And one representative suggested me visiting one branch. I visited one branch in XX/XX/XXXX, the banker asked me to follow up in 24 or 48 hours. But I emailed and called the banker without any response. I just want to report citi ' extremely irresponsible service.
