Consumer Narrative
We had cancelled a credit card # because of Frauldent activities last year. The Credit Card company ( Chase, confirmed that the account has been cancelled and that any charges to the Credit Card Account # will not go through ) Chase continued to allow Fraudulent charges on the old Account # to go through despite that account being cancelled. They now said we are liable for all Fraudulent transactions to the account even if the account is cancelled.
